Training and Education in Transport & Logistic Systems

The expert group on " Training and Education in Transport & Logistic Systems" is focussed on e-learning and m-consulting techniques for improving the skills of both - logistics managers and IT professionals, giving necessary knowledge about latest achievements on high technologies, identification, warehouses operation, wireless networking, data security, biometrics and other studies useable for logistics information systems designing and exploiting. The experts group involves academic staff, professionals, and representatives of national and European professional associations to provide balanced knowledge and consultations. The experts group have following competences:

2. Transport logistics
3. Warehouses operation
4. Information and Communication Technologies and Electronics
5. Simulation of logistics schemes

The main objective in this group is to form alliances for future research and valorisation networks and to jointly offer consulting towards interested industry clients and higher educational institutions related with evaluation of study programmes. Main point of reference and meeting for this group are the LOGIS and SocSimNet Project Networks.
